The Ministry of Interior Pakistan has announced 5 February 2018 as Kashmir Solidarity Day in the country. As per the Public Holiday Notification at this moment issued by the Ministry of Interior, 5th February 2018 will be observed as Kashmir Day to show solidarity with Kashmiris of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Every year, Kashmir Day is celebrated as public holiday in Pakistani to mark solidarity with Kashmiris and signify political and moral support in their struggle for self-determination. On the day, seminars and programs will also be organized at private and national channels. Religious parties will also hold rallies on this special occasion.
