The Ministry of Interior has announced public holiday on 1st December 2017 as a celebration of Birthday of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). The day of Eid Milad un Nabi is celebrated as important Islamic Day every year in the country. The lovers and followers of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) arrange special religious events and seminars on this day.
12 Rabi ul Awal is one of the most important days in the History of Islam. It is important because this day is especially attached to the Birth of Last Messenger of the Great Allah Almighty, Hazrat Syaddana Muhammad (Sall lall laho alyhi wasalam). This day is celebrated with full religious zeal in most of the Islamic countries.
Just like most of the Islamic Countries in the World, the day of Eid Milad un Nabi is celebrated as National Holiday in Pakistan. The day is dawn with thirty-one gun salutes in Islamabad and twenty-one gun salutes in all provincial capital. Different schools of Islamic Jurisprudence have a different point of view on the celebration of this day. However, the majority of Muslim Ummah celebrates the Birthday of their Prophet (PBUH).
